"Premium courses" try their hand at international contests and fashion festivals and strive to make a debut.

Students are required to have at least complete a fashion design/pattern making courses of Vantan Design Institute or comparable qualifications.
Students from all over the world will be selected for this class which consists of only 20 students and they study for 1 year.
Students will pursue their own brand as they study skills and materials with teachers with the highest levels of teaching skills and creativity.
"X-SEED" comes from a combination of the worlds EXCELLENT and SEED. As this shows, students in this class are expected to reach a high level as professional designers and make a debut.

"International X-SEED" is the first and only advanced design course in Japan that is offered all in English. This is in order to educate creators and designers so that they can be active all over the world, not just limited to Japan.
In Januray 2008, the "atelier X-SEED" was established in order to support Vantan fashion design alumni and their activities. To enhance the support of brand global activities, atelier X-SEED held an exhibition "Vantan Tokyo" when Paris Fashion Week in October 2009. Now, there are 15 designers and 9 brands are participating in atelier X-SEED.
