Special class try their hand at international contests and fashion festivals and strive to make a debut.Students are required to have at least complete a fashion design/pattern making courses of Vantan Design Institute or comparable qualifications. Students from all over the world will be selected for this class which consists of only 15 students and they study for 1 year. Students will pursue their own brand as they study skills and materials with teachers with the highest levels of teaching skills and creativity. “X-SEED” comes from a combination of the worlds EXCELLENT and SEED. As this shows, students in this class are expected to reach a high level as professional designers and make a debut.
Produce portfolios in a session with photographers, hair stylists make up artists, and stylists.Create a high-quality portfolio (a collection of works) to impress the world.
Teach and support students with focus on winning awards at major fashion design competitions both at home and abroad. Students who have passed the preliminary selection process can have their works for competitions reviewed as assignments for each term and be awarded credits.
You will be awarded rights to participate in Vantan's biggest debut collection called “Vantan CUTTING EDGE” after careful examination and receive evaluation from prominent creators..
Students will be awarded chances to present their original brand collections at “Vantan Cutting Edge” the biggest debut collection at Vantan after the screening process. This is a great opportunity for the students to have their products reviewed by famous creators.
Workshops by professors from a top fashion university from London with which Vantan has a partnership are integrated into classes.This will help students develop world-class know-how and global point of views.
Plenty of collaboration opportunities and tie-up events with major corporations are available.

A representative of EARTH of MOTHER from Tokyo. He produces clothes used for TV commercials and stage costumes as a freelance designer. He has been taking part in Tokyo Collection since He has design agreements with the brand “EARTH of MOTHER” and several apparel companies and is involved in the planning process.Also, he has established a shop producing company “Bamboo Creative Solutions” with his brother. He was appointed as an expert committee member of The Foundational Juridical Person NIPPON UNIFORM CENTER in January 2007.As a teacher, his students have the "best competition winning records" and his strict style is popular among the students.

Graduated from the Women’s Wear course at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in 2005.He won three awards at the international competition “its#3”.He came back to Japan after a stint as a design assistant at John Galliano.He established writtenafterwards inc. with Kentaro Tamai in April 2007.

A studio which consists of young designers who have great track records including Aguri Sagimori who made her debut at Tokyo Collection was established within the Vantan Design Institute. Full support is given for designers to devote themselves to designing.
